HOW I DID IT 👇🏼 ✨ This once plain, builder-grade space is now a high-end storage dream, and it only cost me $936.43! 1️⃣ Built the Base: I used 2x6 boards to create a sturdy base to lift the cabinets and give them that custom built-in look. 2️⃣ Installed the Cabinets: I used five 30x30x12” unfinished upper cabinets and secured them to the wall and each other for a seamless finish. 3️⃣ Added the Countertop: Using (2) 1x16x8’ pre-glued pine boards, I ripped them down to 13.5” deep creating a sleek countertop with a slight overhang. 4️⃣ Trimmed it Out: I finished the base with pre-primed pine 1x6 boards to cover the 2x6 structure and added trim for a polished look. 5️⃣ Prepped & Painted: Everything was primed and painted, sanding between each coat for a smooth, professional finish. 150” of nothing but hidden storage for toys, books, remotes, ETC. ETC. for under $1,000! 💡 What do you think? Would you try a project like this? Let me know!
