And tag or share with a friend who should try! 🙌🏼 *Our damper was on 4 and then 10* The Ski Erg is very much an explosive compound movement machine. But what happens when you take the hinge out of it? You loose a significant amount of force. When you use the ski erg properly, you should be leading with pushing your hips back, keeping tension on the lats and driving through the elbows, letting your chest come down while keeping a neutral spin and an engaged core. You’ll “crack the whip” at the bottom of the movement (aka the beginning of the recovery), by imagining that you’re touching a hot surface. Quickly letting your arms go to full extension (but not keeping them there for more than a split second), as you continue to recover and inhale as come back to the top. Lengthening out the body, fully extending your arms overhead, preparing to repeat the pattern. Taking the lower half out completely is quite the challenge.
