We had some delicious and nourishing yugtaq food today. On the menu was salmon berry/raspberry akutaq, moose soup, herring eggs, moose kinengyuk, dry fish, dried pike, muktuk, beluga, uquq, and you can’t forget the sweet pickles and apples for the extra crunch. I ate too much of the table food I couldn’t even get a bowl of soup 😂 What’s the yugtun word when you eat too much uquq? It’s gonna be a long night of uquq burping and maybe leqing 🙊 And of course we finished off the evening with ahi’s saayuq 🫖 Nourishing my body was foods from the land is just what my body needed ❤️ And sharing it with friends and family is even better ❤️ #sewyupik #yupik #alaska #alaskalife #sharingalaska #sharingiscaring #alaskan #indigenous #native #food #healthyfood #alaskaliving #alaskalove #alaskanative #Foodie #indigenousfood #nativetiktok

Uqilnguq-when you eat too much uquq 😂 What are your home remedies when you eat too much uquq? Thank goodness for the ayuq saayuq it helped me not to have an uquq hangover 😂 I couldn’t even go for the craggers cause I sure felt full. Something about yugtaq is so filling and even helped me to sleep so Goot all night! Whoogti but I sure chuckled cause I panicked eating too much uquq and then felt sick 😂 #sewyupik #yupik #indigenous #food #foodblogger #foodstagram #nativefood #indigenousfood #sharingalaska #alaska #nativetiktok #fyp #fypシ
