Our spring semester started today! Here are some pictures of our @herthabsc Integrated Team on their first training back after winter break! If you are not thrilled with your soccer training and are a really talented U18 player — have you ever thought of training in Germany? Huge welcome to our new players who have joined the Cádiz CF Integrated Academy for the spring semester! Justin Gonsalves (Orlando City Seminole, Florida), Goalkeeper Fayt Ng-Hillis (Saskatoon Alliance, Canada) and Bryan Zepeda (Orlando City Seminole, Florida) had their first training with their team yesterday and Coach Pablo Sanchez was thoroughly impressed by them! Our @herthabsc Integrated U18s match against SC Borsigwalde U19 ended in a 4:2 win for our players. This was the 21st match for our talented players who took on a U19 Berlin Liga team who play in the 3rd division for their age group! Goals scored: 1:1 Om Patel 2:1 Zyan Ha-Ahu Assist Matthew Tweedy 3:2 Nathan Levin Assist: Neil Parekh 4:2 Nathan Levin Assist: Neil Parekh Head Coach Patrick Weiser says, "Finally the first win of the new year! And this win was well deserved. As in the last two games, today we wanted to focus on a stable, compact defensive organization and quickly switch to our offensive game after winning the ball. We needed some time to get into the game properly and unfortunately the first shot on our goal was a hit. But this was undoubtedly a very nice goal. After that we had very good control of the game and many great scoring opportunities, especially in the second half. Overall, the reaction after the first goal was excellent and we are very happy that the team was able to reward themselves for their performance with the win. Special praise today goes to Zyan Ha-Ahu for his many dangerous deep runs, to our two central midfielders Om and Matthew for their good positional play and important ball wins and to the two-goal scorer Nathan for his clarity and clever passes in the game. A great team performance with very good body language." We are proud to be able to continue the development of our players who trained at some top youth clubs academies in America.
