I’ll NEVER regret spending money on high-quality, nutrient-dense food. People love to say that health food is “overpriced,” but to me, it’s one of the most important investments I can make. I’d rather pay for real, organic, nourishing food now than pay for the consequences of poor health later. One thing that always shocks me when I’m in the U.S. is how expensive natural food stores are compared to where I live in Italy. Here, organic produce, high-quality dairy, and pasture-raised meats are much more affordable, making it easier for people to access real, whole foods. Meanwhile, in the U.S., a simple grocery run at a health food store can feel like a luxury. It’s frustrating that eating well is made so inaccessible in some places, but no matter where I am, I’ll always prioritize my health. Because at the end of the day, feeling good in my body is worth every penny. What’s one health food item you never mind splurging on?
