🥪LIMITED TIME POP-UP in Downtown Austin🥪 Proper Sandos was opened by the Kishi Brothers (French Japanese chefs) who have taken their talents across the world and landed right here in Austin! The food is inspired by the traditional-style milk bread sandwiches you find at convenience stores in Tokyo! There are five sandwiches in total on the menu including the Tamago Sando, Nassau Sando, Pork Katsu, Chicken Katsu and the star of them all the $98 A5 Wagyu Sando with Miyazaki beef. They were serving Duck Soba noodles as a limited time feature when I went in this past week and they also have a delicious Ube Ice Cream Sandwich. Open Weds-Sun from 11am-6pm 📍202 1/2 Nueces Street, Austin, TX 7801 The Kishi brothers have plans to open a more formal and permanent restaurant in the near future.
