In addition to worn out or damaged sneakers, incomplete pairs also make perfect donors for my upcycled sneaker projects! It’s been proven to me over the years through my experience, that most people see little to no value in a right shoe only, if it’s missing the matching left shoe, and vice versa. In fact, on average, I generally notice incomplete pairs sitting unsold for months or longer. And those that do sell tend to only fetch about 10% of the going price for the same shoe in a complete pair. The Jordan 1 High Travis Scott Mocha (right shoe only) in this video was sold to me by a sneaker boutique who reached out after they couldn’t find a buyer for just one shoe. And since nobody else wanted it, I was happy to take it off their hands. I got it for about 10% of what you’d expect to pay for a complete pair. So I repurposed the materials to create two dope hand stitched pieces: a bifold wallet and a cardholder🔥 I repurpose worn out or damaged sneakers, and incomplete pairs, to create my hand stitched leather goods and upcycled sneaker art♻️
