Beginning of Day 7‼️We continue to search for my uncle Rigo in these freezing temperatures. Thank you to everyone that has helped us share my uncles story and to the people who are actively helping us find my uncle. Rigo was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and brown cowboy boots. He was last seen on 1/19 around 1am when he was released from the Kaufman County Detention Center. I feel like something’s need to be addressed since there is so much speculation around my uncle’s disappearance. My uncle Rigo lives in Farmers Branch. He showed up to court in Kaufman for a DWI from 2023 on 1/13. That day he was arrested and booked. He was supposed to be released on 1/20 but was released a day early on 1/19 at 1am. Our family didn’t received a call. My uncle tried to get into the passenger side of a police vehicle and when asked what he was doing he started walking towards the Adoption center. My uncle may have been disoriented because he was going through alcohol withdrawals. The family received a call at 8:30 am to let us know my uncle had left his belongings on top of a trash can right outside their door. My uncle left behind his wallet, ID and cellphone. My uncle was reported missing at around noon on that same day. We have been looking for my uncle day/night. It’s been 6 long days now and we continue to ask for your help. It is now Day 11!! My uncle has been missing since 01/19. Last seen at the Kaufman Detention Center around midnight and all we are getting from the Kaufmam police department is that it is an “active investigation”. At this point it just feels like they are buying time! Why have they not sent out their search dogs? Why aren’t they letting us see any proof that my uncle ever left their parking lot? I know that place has to have cameras everywhere. Come on it’s a jail!! I get it. For yall he’s just another case number but for us he is a Father, Grandfather, Brother, Son and an Uncle.
