Part 1! Before I fell through the floor at my dad’s childhood home in Tonga (LMAO) we found this old broken kava bowl in the corner with my grandpa’s initials. One of our goals this year as a family is to remain consistent with our creative passions and for my dad that looks like woodworking/carpentry. This kava bowl is missing a leg, is has an oval shape and isn’t balanced but it’s probably one of the few things that belonged to our late grandpa that we never got to meet.
