📖 This Could Be Us by Kennedy Ryan 🌺🌸 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.25 🌶️🌶️.5 4.25 ⭐️ Another one I couldn’t put down! I’m officially counting down the days for Book 3. This one had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It felt like every few pages, a new twist or revelation would shift the entire direction of the story. Soledad’s journey in the *Skyland* series is so gripping. She’s a stay-at-home mom of three beautiful girls, and she starts to sense something is off in her marriage to Edward, who works at Calpot, a massive multinational corporation. Meanwhile, Judah and Tremaine, who were once a couple, have amicably divorced but continue to co-parent their twin boys, Aaron and Adam. Both boys were diagnosed with autism at age two, and though they share the same diagnosis, they each require different types of care and support, adding a unique layer of complexity to their lives. When Soledad and Judah meet at one of Edward’s work functions, they immediately connect. Soledad doesn’t fully understand the tension between Edward and Judah until some unexpected, life-altering discoveries are made that completely shift the dynamics of their relationship. Like I mentioned, this book kept me *on my toes*. There were moments I was rolling my eyes, throwing the book across the room, and constantly reaching for my “infuriating” tab color to mark certain sections (purple). The tension, the drama, and the emotional weight were all so well done, but I will admit that there were certain aspects of Judah’s character that raised red flags for me. It’s the reason I didn’t give this a full 5-star rating—there were a few moments that felt off to me. That said, I absolutely loved it. Kennedy Ryan has done it again! I’m already eagerly awaiting the next book in the series, especially since Hendrix’s story is up next—she gives me serious Keke Palmer vibes, and I can’t wait to dive into her world. 🌸🌺
