🍥Honey Butter Cinnamon Rolls🍥 Dough: - 1 Cup Milk - 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar - 2 1/4 Teaspoons Active Dry Yeast - 6 Tablespoons Melted Salted Butter - 4 Cups All- Purpose Flour - 1 Teaspoon Salt - 3 Eggs - 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon Filling: - 6 Tablespoons Softened Whipped Honey Butter - 1 Cup Brown Sugar - 1 1/2 Tablespoons Cinnamon Icing: - 12oz Cream Cheese Softened - 1/4 Cup Cinnamon Honey - 1/4 Powdered Sugar - 1-2 Tablespoons Milk 1. Warm the milk and mix in the brown sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top. Wait 5-10 minutes until foamy. 2. Add the remaining ingredients into a stand mixer. Pour the yeast mixture into the mixer. 3. Turn on low speed for 30 seconds and then to medium for 4-5 minutes. (The dough should be sticky but not wet.) 4. Lightly grease a bowl. Knead the dough into a ball 15-20 seconds. Place dough in the greased bowl and cover with a towel or plastic wrap. 5. Let dough rise for 1 hour. 6. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured counter. You want this about 1/2 inch thick so you can have more layers of filling. This is thinner than most recipes but I like the layers I achieve. 7. Spread the butter onto the dough. 8. Sprinkle the filling onto the butter and spread into an even layer. 9. Gently use your hands and spread them into a web. Use your hands to gently roll the dough into a snake. 10. Cut the ends of the cinnamon roll off. 11. Use the back of your knife and mark the cinnamon roll half way. Then do it again on either side. Continue until you have 12 marks. 12. Use a sharp knife to slice the rolls. I use a sawing motion as to not smoosh the rolls down as I cut into them. 13. Place the 12 rolls in a buttered 9x13 pan. 14. Cover with plastic wrap and then place a towel over top. Let rise for one hour. 15. After the one hour mark, preheat the oven to 400. Continue to let the dough rise while the oven warms up. 16. Once the oven has hit 400, unwrap the rolls and place them on the middle rack. Bake for approximately 20 minutes until browned. 17. While the rolls are baking, whip the cream cheese in a stand mixer for approximately two minutes. Add in the tablespoon of milk and continue to whip. If you want it lighter, add more milk a few teaspoons at a time. Once cream cheese is whipped add in honey and powdered sugar. Whip for another minute. 18. Once the rolls are done, take out of the oven and serve immediately. Either top with the icing or put it on the side to dip the rolls into. 19. Enjoy!
