How to recreate inspo pics✨ If your client requests a certain set, here is how you can recreate their desired set while slightly modifying it to suit your client’s unique features and eye shape. 1. I like to measure the client’s distance from lashline to brow. You can use our tweezer rulers for this, it’s built into each of our tweezers. This tells you what length will be appropriate for them. Sometimes a 16mm lash on one client, will be too long for another. We all have different eye proportions. This client had 13mm between her lashline and brow, so we did 13mm as her longest spike. Any longer like the inspo pic, would touch above her lid. 2. Count the spikey sections in your inspo pic and add that amount of lines to your foam tape. apply a spikey section for each of those lines. This inspo pic had 14 spikey sections, so I drew 14 lines. 3. Mapping dots will help you locate the center of the eye and craft a map around that focal point. This was an open eye map, so I draw a dot at the start of the iris, end of the iris and right above the pupil. Have your clients look straight ahead for this step so you can get an accurate view of where the iris sits. 5. Observe the density of your set as you go. Every 20 minutes I check my work from the front with a dental mirror. This allows me to make any adjustments I need to get a similar look to the inspo photo. Do I need more spikes in a certain area? Do I need fuller bottom layer? Check and see! Was this helpful? Save for later ✨
