Another look at my Jordan 1 x Jason Voorhees mask upcycled from a Jordan 1 High OG Sail 2017. This project is right up there with my all-time favorites, because it allowed me to merge two of my passions, horror and sneakers! I repurposed the sneaker leather for the exterior of the mask, the interior is lined with the exposed flesh side of veg tanned leather. The mask is comfortable and the leather smells incredible. A plastic donor mask serves as the skeleton for form and support. I wanted to keep it simple, as a Jason mask naturally is, but still added some cool details that pay tribute to both the mask and the sneaker, which both are respectively iconic in pop culture.
