There were many elements of my garden this year that didn’t go exactly as planned, one of which the timing of the soil for my raised beds (which were to filled with loofah). What I did learn, as a part of that delay, was that loofah is very easy doable to maintain as a seedling until the opportune planting time arrives. For gardeners in zone 6, all the way down to zone 2, this is how you can grow loofah. Start the seedlings in large seed cells, and then transplant them up to larger nursery pots. Finding the exact right sizing will take a big of practice, but the reward will be so worth it! For those of you in the colder range of these zones, this means you need to start your seedlings in about a month - so get your seeds and start your loofah growing journey.
