I had the pleasure of making custom cookie kits for Netflix. I also had over 200 custom-decorated cookies due the same week. Somehow, someway, I managed to pull off over 700 cookies in a seven-day period.ā ā I still remember my first week of making cookiesāsomeone wanted to order two dozen cookies, and I almost turned down the order because I didnāt think I could make them within a week.ā ā Recently, a random person replied to one of my Instagram stories after I joked that I havenāt seen my sanity since November. They told me I should be grateful. Grateful is an understatementāhonestly, I wake up every day feeling lucky that I get to do something I love for a living. But itās also true that someone can feel more than one thing at a time. So YES, Iām grateful. But Iām also tired, and thatās okay.ā ā Being a one-woman business owner is HARD.
