I met Kevin Smith at a Q&A not long ago (he's amazing BTW) and had asked him about Mallrats 2. He told us that universal has it locked up and they won't pay to make a 2nd movie, nor will they RELEASE it so Kevin Smith can make a sequel... But PLEASEEEEE @Universal Pictures you make so much money normally, can't you just make people happy?
