the purest, simplest type of love 🥹 i couldn’t resist throwing our sweet calli girl a little 2nd birthday party, complete with cute invitations from @Evite, a pup-friendly peanut butter cake and some of our friends (human + four-legged!) #evitepartner dog-friendly birthday cake recipe 🎂 for the cake: -1 medium banana, mashed (about 1/3 cup) -3/4 cup applesauce -1/2 cup pumpkin puree -1 large egg -1 cup AP flour -1 tsp baking soda for the frosting: -1 cup plain greek yogurt -1/2 cup natural peanut butter preheat oven to 350F and grease three 4” cake rounds with a little bit of oil. in a medium bowl whisk together the mashed banana, applesauce & pumpkin. then add in egg and whisk again. add in flour and baking soda and use a spatula to stir until combined. distribute cake batter evenly amongst the 3 pans. bake for ~25 mins. let cool for a bit before removing from the pan and allowing them to finish cooling on a wire rack. meanwhile, mix together greek yogurt and peanut butter until smooth and combined. then, cut off the tops of the cake layers to level them out. add a bit of the frosting between each layer, then coat the cake in it. would recommend only giving your dog a small slice! #dogbirthdayparty #dogbirthdaycake #marleyandme #2ndbirthday #spoileddog #dogmom #dogsoftiktok #doglover #germanshorthairedpointer #gspsoftiktok #gsp
