It’s completely normal to still like the things you did as a kid, that’s how lifelong interests start! And for me, one of the best parts about being an adult is finally being able to buy all the things I couldn’t as a kid! You’re never too old to surround yourself with things that bring you joy, and as long as it’s not hurting anybody, it’s not anybody else’s business! conquer my neverending list of ✨doom piles✨ with me!! 🧹 one of my goals for this new year is to actually be able to use the closed spaces in my home (a wild concept, I know?!) - which unfortunately have been overrun with my partner and I’s adhd + hoarding tendencies for 3 years…so we’re choosing one task per week and doing it! This month I was able to reorganize the hallway closet, my closet drawers, and the craft cabinet! Music, writing, art…magic is created in this studio space ✨. I rearranged the studio this weekend. The antique floral print that is now hanging over the piano hung above my writing desk for years! I really didn’t think I would ever move that piece, but over the weekend I decided that the piano was calling for it. The calico statue came from my mom — she found it at an antique store recently. The little print stamp of the woman with the cat was made by my mom when she was an art student. I adore it. Speaking of my desk…I started an exciting project over the weekend. There is some new wallpaper in this room and I completely rearranged the desk space!
