Rosca de Conchas 🤍🤎 Feliz Dia de Los Reyes Magos !  Recipe:  500g all purpose flour 3 eggs (room temp.) 1 stick of salted butter (room temp.) 100g granulated sugar 14g yeast 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp milk (warm) 1 tbsp vanilla  orange zest  Concha Topping: 135g Flour 135g Powdered Sugar 140g Vegetable Shortening Cocoa powder  Vanilla Extract  Add yeast to the warm milk along with a tablespoon of flour and sugar, whisk together. Let it to rise.  Sift the flour before adding it to the bowl. Mix the flour, sugar and then slowly add in the eggs and milk.Lastly add in the room temperature butter and vanilla. Mix until dough is formed. Knead dough by hand on a floured surface for a couple minutes. Form the dough into a ball and place it in an oiled bowl. Cover and let it rise until it doubles in size. Separate dough into even balls (120g) and flatten. To a few of the conchas (we did 4) add some of the concha topping in the middle to differentiate it or the others. Add concha topping. Place them in a circle. Let dough rise once more for about 1 hour. Heat oven to 350F. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy! #diadelosreyesmagos #mexicanantojitos #conchas #roscadereyes
