🫖 Every December the Edgewater Hotel in Madison, WI puts on fancy Afternoon High Tea each Sunday. This was my first year going and it quickly became a new yearly tradition! 🍰Here’s what we ate & drank: -Cinnamon bourbon scones with Devonshire cream & pomegranate preserves. - Whipped chevre, house-made fig preserves, la quercia prosciutto on ciabatta bun. -Oven-roasted uncured rosemary ham, bechamel nutmeg sauce, pear chutney on Madison sourdough bread. -Organic chicken, cranberry, local granny smith apple, roasted walnuts on a croissant. -Cucumber, avocado, smoked sea salt, sesame seeds, shallot confit, mixed micros on pumpernickel bread. -Petit four mini dessert cups -Chocolate covered strawberries -Eclairs -Cinnamon covered miniature churros -Macaroons -Petit cannoli’s with crushed pistachios 👋🏻We’re the @midwestmunchers We’re just over here livin our best Midwesty life with our three pups in a tiny Wisconsin town. 🧀🐶👫 Follow us for more Midwest food & travel! . . .
