Replying to @Ashley Bell just becuase we’re in the military doesnt mean we shouldnt have kids😂 and again, active sea duty at the same time as my husband doesnt mean we’ll both be deployed or “abandoning” our child, it just means we’re attached to a ship at the same time and we MAY have to go underway here and there. At least one of us will be home if not both of us, and on days we may have a duty day synced up thats when friends or family help out. 1. Yall like please understand….Active Sea Duty simply means we are both attached to a ship. Not all ships are in a “deployable” status. The only time NEITHER of us will be home is if our duty days sync up a few times out of the month, or if one of us is underway, and in that instance we have friends and family to help. We are both trying to go to ships in the yards, a pre-com ship or one that isnt super operational. 2. Two dual mil people being on sea duty at the same time is also not the norm. i want to calrify that our detailers have been doing an amazing job finding every option for us, however as SWOs and me getting pregnant before the end of my first tour, this was the best option for us to avoid future complications with our orders in the future. #militarymom #dualmilitary #navy #militarylife #military #miltok #navylife #newmom
