#Millefeuilles: A delicious French pastry, featuring layers of flaky puff pastry and creamy filling. Popular in dessert trends, it showcases creativity, culinary skills, vibrant colors, indulgence, and irresistible sweetness, inspiring food lovers.
The Perfect Mille-Feuille 🇫🇷 Ingredients: Caramelized Pastry Sheets: 250g Puff Pastry 50g Powdered Sugar Vanilla Cream: 500g Milk ½ Vanilla Stick 5 Egg Yolks 100g granulated Sugar 55g Cornstarch 100g Cold Butter Method: 1. Preheat oven to 170C (340F). 2. Roll out the dough to 3mm thick and place it between 2 sheets of baking paper and 2 baking trays. 3. Bake for 25 minutes. 4. Once the dough is golden (but not brown), remove the dough from the oven, remove the top tray and sprinkle with a thin layer of powdered sugar. 5. Increase the oven temperature to 180C (360F). 6. Return the dough to the oven (without the top tray) until the powdered sugar caramelizes (the caramelization occurs when the dough looks shiny). 7. Vanilla pastry cream: In a saucepan, boil milk with vanilla. In a separate bowl whisk egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch in a medium bowl. 8. Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour the milk over the egg yolk mixture. Whisk well until combined. 9. Transfer the mixture back to the saucepan and bring it to a boil over low heat. It is important to constantly whisk the mixture. 10. As soon as the mixture bubbles, remove the cream from the saucepan and transfer to a bowl. 11. Add butter and whisk until combined. 12. Place plastic wrap over the cream and chill completely in the refrigerator (at least two hours). 13. Assemble the mille-feuille: Cut the caramelized puff pastry into rectangles of the desired size. 14. Beat the vanilla cream well and transfer it to a piping bag with a 10 mm round nozzle. 15. Pipe vanilla cream onto the first layer of puff pastry. Place another layer of puff pastry on top of the cream and repeat. 15. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve. Enjoy 😉   #napoleon #Napoleoncake ##millefeuille##millefeuilles##puffpastry##vanilla##creampatisserie##france##patisserie
