When Joe and I got married back in October, we were so happy to get time with our friends and family in Minnesota. It was (and always has been) apparent to me how formative his time growing up there was. Back in September, I was brainstorming ideas for his birthday and as a surprise, I snagged tickets to see the Vikings and visit with our loved ones. When I got the tickets I had NO IDEA how important this game would be, and still can’t believe we got the seats that we did for the Vikings’ epic battle against Green Bay. We had SO much fun at the game and there was the sweetest group of girls a few rows behind us and after the game asked if we were on our honeymoon! They said that they took a bunch of pictures of us during the game (um, adorable!) and offered to share them with us, but we had one (or two or three) purple drinks too many and entered the wrong phone number!!!
