Taking my time with this kitchen refinishing project has been a whole new experience for me. I used to power through projects just to cross them off the list, but these days, life looks a little different. Between baby snuggles and the everyday joys of mom life, my DIYs have taken a back seat—and I’m okay with that. I’m down to the final section (of course, I saved the largest part for last 😅), and I can’t wait to see the whole space come together. I even have a few ideas for updating the appliances that I’m really excited to try. For so many years I lived with 15 different songs in my head. All playing at the same time. The rattling in the background would drive me nuts. The constant thoughts I could never turn off.
