We also call these the “create your own” outings. All of our toddler outing hacks and go-to ideas in one place. MORE EASY GAME IDEAS 👇🏼 Modify these to whatever age and skill level, but there are SO many different ways to get the energy out with cones or to kill time if you’re in a bind. 1. Color Run. Set up different color cones a distance away & toddler has to run to the color you call out. 2. Relay Stacking. Hand toddler a cone and tell them to run and stack on the matching color. Run back to get the next cone. If you have multiple kids make them compete haha. 3. Make Shapes. Set a physical boundary & give each child a few cones. Call out a shape for them to create! I tell my boys, when you’re sitting down I know you’re finished and I can check your work. 4. Kick the Cones. Set up cones all over, random & chaotically. Ready, set, go! How many cones can you kick over in 30 seconds? That’s all I give ya for now 😏 what other games can you create? Let your kids use their imagination & you get involved if that’s the vibe of the outing too! These outings aren’t an everyday ordeal, but what a tool to keep in that tool belt for the days you don’t want a big to-do and just want to get out in a low stress environment!
