2025! Our 20th year of service! This year we wanted to do something fun. We always hear people talk about how we should bring back their favorite burger, or put it on the menu permanently. Well, over the summer we took a poll of what burgers to bring back. We took the top names and put them in a 2025 quarterly burger battle. Every time you order a battle burger, that will be a vote for that respective burger. We’ll tally up the votes at the end of the quarter, and the winner will move on to face the next challenger. By the end of 2025 we will have had 5 classic throwbacks (along with some other fun ones not in the battle) on our menu, and one Burger to rule them all! Up first, for the Q1 Burger Battle, we have two Burgers that pay homage to some hometown heroes! 2 bands we hold in very high regard. 2 bands who are no strangers to Kuma’s. MORGUE & LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR MORGUE Kuma’s Angus Beef Patty (or choice of protein), Honey Mustard Aioli, Arugula, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Pepperjack Cheese, Deep Fried Skirt Steak LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR Kuma’s Angus Beef Patty (or choice of protein), Bourbon Poached Pear, Pancetta, Brie, Caramelized Onions LET YOUR HUNGER DECIDE! The nonprofit that we will support this quarter will be Wish Upon a Star, Illinois! Wish Upon A Star Is a Non-Profit 501 (c)3 Charity located in Joliet Illinois. Since 1978 Wish Upon A Star has been granting wishes of local Illinois children with life threatening Illnesses. $1 from every battle burger sold in Q1 will go to Wish Upon a Star, Illinois. We support this nonprofit in honor of Ted VanTilburg, the late drummer of Morgue. We can’t thank his wife Wendy and his band members enough for helping us with this project. They sent us a bunch of cool photos/ logos/ flyers that we will post throughout the quarter.
