What are your thoughts? Is this something you think you could get behind? The main thing I love about it is how simple it is. You don’t need anything, just 15-20 minutes in the morning to focus on YOU and set yourself up for a successful day! I highly suggest listening to the podcast episode because I think it’s a fabulous listen but if you want the list it’s… 1. Don’t snooze your alarm! If you have trouble doing this she suggests counting backwards from 5 and just getting up! Getting out of bed is the biggest battle. Once you are out you likely won’t feel inclined to get back in. 2. Make your bed! This is something I’ve been doing for years! There is nothing better than getting into a nicely made bed at night. Even if I’m the most hungover I’ve ever been, I still make my bed 😂 3. High five yourself! Ok seriously you might have to listen to the podcast to get this one hahaha. It feels silly but if anything it makes you laugh!! 4. Drink a glass of water! This one will be the hardest for me. I know this is going to sound absolutely insane but I LOATH water 😭😂 I have to force myself to drink it and I am certain I don’t get enough. So hopefully this will motivate me to drink more water! 5. Get outside for 10 minutes! She talks about getting natural light for 10 minutes right away in the morning, even if it’s raining. (Which I might find hard to follow through with if it’s raining but we will see hahaha) 6. Get movement in! This can be combined with 5 which is what I plan to do! I usually try to get 2-3 walks in a day so I will just have this be one of them ◡̈ Another note is to not go on your phone at all until after step 6! The walk should be no headphones, nothing. Which I actually do most of my walks with no headphones anyways! Is this something you would try? I’m interested to incorporate this into my daily routine! I love how simple it is! #melrobins #melrobinsmorningroutine #morningroutune #wellness #health
