❄️✨ 2024 Highlight #2: One of the most special moments this year was when our eldest son, his wife, and their children visited us and experienced snow for the very first time! My husband and I brought everyone together for an unforgettable trip to the Mount Washington Cog Railway in New Hampshire. We ascended the mountain on the world’s first mountain-climbing cog railway , reaching the summit where we enjoyed panoramic views from the observation deck . The children delighted in playing in the snow, and we all gathered around a cozy fire pit to roast marshmallows, creating magical memories in the winter wonderland.After our snowy adventure, we retreated to the historic Omni Mount Washington Resort , where we enjoyed luxurious accommodations and warm hospitality. This is just one of the many moments this year where my husband and I brought our family together. Family means everything to me, and seeing their joy reminded me of how precious these shared experiences are. The Views on Base Station are incredible. Driving to see Mt. Washington. The road up to the top is closed for the winter. Follow directions for the Cog Rail. It is so worth it.
