The SUPERMAN TEASER TRAILER EVENT was absolutely wonderful. You can find my thoughts on the footage itself EVERYWHERE (Reaction over at Reel Rejects, thoughts and review on my YouTube RIGHT NOW, additional commentary on DC Studios Showcase- tonight.) But here I wanted to take a minute to commend the actors who, through conversations had afterward and during the QnA, really showed had PERFECTLY cast they are. This universe is taking flight STRONG. Normally I find it sophomoric, if a bit even unfair to the actors, to always compare them to their roles. But when someone is BORN to play a role, as is the case here - it needs to be celebrated. Rachel Brosnahan is a pitch perfect Lois Lane in SO many ways. The intelligence, the poise & intensity, even her cadence. Beyond that she found her way into the character by speaking with journalists and had her Aha connection moment through those chats.
