Forever Alyssa. Forever 14. 🩵✨ Seven years ago, my daughter, Alyssa Alhadeff, walked into her English class at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, full of life, dreams, and determination. She never walked out.🥹 Alyssa was my beautiful, loving daughter. A sister. A fierce soccer player. A loyal friend. A straight-A student with unstoppable energy and a heart full of kindness. She had so many plans, so many goals—a future stolen in an instant. No parent should ever have to say goodbye to their child like this. No student should ever feel unsafe in their own classroom. Since that tragic day, we have fought tirelessly in Alyssa’s name—for her, and for the sixteen other innocent souls taken too soon. Through Make Our Schools Safe, we turn our grief into action, ensuring that Alyssa’s light continues to shine by making schools safer for every child. Her story cannot end here. We owe it to our children to do better. To demand change. To fight for a future where no parent has to experience this pain. For Alyssa. For all the victims. For the safety of every student. 💙 Join us. Advocate. Take action. 🔗 Be part of the movement: www.MakeOurSchoolsSafe.org
