Let me put y’all on to one of my favorite soups for gut health! This one is loaded with ingredients that help heal and support the gut lining. Here’s what I used: 🍄 Mushrooms (a mix of regular and Lion’s Mane) 🧅 Onions 🥕 Carrots 🌱 Celery 🥦 Broccoli & broccolini 🥬 Dandelion greens, parsley, and cilantro 🌾 Cabbage & bok choy 🍲 Vegetable broth 🌶 Spices: onion powder, oregano, ginger, garlic, sea salt, and a pinch of cayenne for some heat! 🌊 Kelp noodles (I added these after serving!) I make a big pot of soup like this and my family and I eat it over two or three days. Sometimes I switch up the ingredients, but for the most part, I stick to this base. This soup is a gut healer! The broccoli and broccolini are packed with fiber and nutrients that support digestion, while the dandelion greens, parsley, and cilantro help detox the body. Ginger, and cayenne reduce inflammation in the gut, and mushrooms like Lion’s Mane are amazing for overall gut health. The broth and veggies also work together to soothe and rebuild the gut lining.
