A female is taken into custody last night on 3 felony charges. The charges for Miss Aimee Mandelbaum are as following. 1. UNLAWFUL USE OF WEAPON SUBSECTION 5 WHILE INTOXICATED 2. ARMED CRIMINAL ACTION 3. DOMESTIC ASSAULT 3RD DEGREE The photos below are the Warrant and also PC and from the scene. The Pc states below. The facts supporting this belief are as follows: On January 12, 2025, Officer's were dispatched to the area of Lusk Drive and Highway 60 for a domestic situation. Officers were informed before arrival, Ms. Mandelbaum had possessed a firearm from under the seat of the vehicle she was a passenger in and pointed the firearm at Victim 1 during an altercation. When Officers arrived on scene and spoke with Victim 1, Victim 1 stated during the altercation he feared for his life. Victim 1 stated he tried to fight to get the gun away from Ms. Mandelbaum but was unsuccessful after Ms. Mandelbaum started kicking him. Victim 1 jumped out of the vehicle, leaving the vehicle in the west bound turning lane of the roadway and created distance between himself and Ms. Mandelbaum until officers arrived. It may be noted the firearm was located under the passenger seat with a live round in the chamber and a loaded magazine inserced inco the firearm. When I contacted Ms. Mandelbaum, she appeared to be intoxicated. Ms. Mandelbaum had an odor of intoxicants coming from her breath. Ms. Mandelbaum was swaying and took extra steps to maintain balance. Ms. Mandelbaum stated nothing physically occurred and that she did not point any objects at Victim l. Ms. Mandelbaum consented to a preliminary breath test, but the consent was recanted. before the test was completed. I believe Ms. Mandelbaum knowingly possessed a weapon readily capable of lethal force, using it in a negligent way, after admitting having consumed alcohol. I believe Ms. Mandelbaum possessed a firearm knowing the firearm is capable of deadly force and pointed it at Victim 1. While Victim 1 attempted to take the firearm away, Ms. Mandelbaum kicked Victim I attempting to cause physical Du injury. For the issuance of a warrant in a misdemeanor case, complete the following in. (a) I believe that the defendant will not appear in court in response to a criminal summons because: Ms. Mandelbaum is here on a passport which she stated she had a plane ticket to leave within the next month. (b) I believe that the defendant poses (1) a danger to crime victim because Ms. Mandelbaum aim a loaded firearm at victim'1, which could have caused iT serious phyical injury or death. (2) a danger to the community or to any other person because Natan Offirm Ms. Mandelbaum unlawfully possessed a loaded firearm and aimed the firearm at a person which at their location was a high volume traffic location. If the bullet would have discharge from the firearm Victim 1 could have not been the only person injured during the incident. Remember all suspects are innocent until proven guilty. #arrested #arrests #handcuffed #scenes #breakingnews #newsphotographer #newsphotojournalist #photojournalism #photojournalist #arrest #jailtok #jailtime #jailtiktok #jaillife #policeofficer #policeofficers #policeoftiktok #policeofficersoftiktok #lawenforcementcommunity #lawenforment #lawenforcementofficer #newsphotographer
