So my wife had hinted not so subtly that we need to get more exercise since our jobs are so sedentary; and our daughter has been begging for us to spend more time with her in the evenings before bed besides homework. Buying a Nex Playground was a genius solution. Since breaking it out of the box we’ve played Fruit Ninja, soccer, Candy Land, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Miraculous Ladybug Adventures, that music game where you have to swing your arms to the beat, and more. And not only is my daughter excited to play (she was super disinterested until she saw me play fruit ninja) but now she won’t get off and is taking my turns 🤣 Not only that. So much for sedentary. This game got me slicing, running, jumping and most importantly; SWEATING! And getting some fun and easy exercise with my family. Even Yara had to comment on how it’s wearing her butt out *lol Full disclosure, it comes with like five games. There are more if you purchase a game pass, which I was dubious about but we wound up playing through the main starters so frequently and the pass is no more expensive than a day at Skyzone for the family for a year. My wife has already declared we’ll be playing every afternoon after one game of Fruit Ninja *lol but it’s safe to say Nex Playground has fast become a family staple in the Dorsey household.
