Buffy the Vampire Slayer was my introduction to the horror genre. I used to sneak to the basement to watch reruns on a small TV when I was little because it was “too scary” for me. From Buffy blossomed my love or horror and my first experience with a true Final Girl. I met someone who would become my best friend of over a decade on a fan site, and she later introduced me to my now-Husband. I owe this series for so much that has happened to me, and all of my favorite pieces of my current life. I would not be a true fan of the show if I did not demand that Nicholas Brendon doesn’t return. I don’t know how many ears this will reach, but you should demand the same. @Slay The Silence is one of NB’s former victims and has dedicated herself to advocacy against and awareness of DV.
