This 2025 Murano Platinum AWD came in at $55,030; the 2025 is 2.6 inches wider, 2inches higher off the ground than before. It impresses with a bold new design and a fabulous new interior with Venitian Murano Glass inspired trim, new technology, luxury comfort features all in a package that left me wanting more upon its return. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏁 @Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: The big news is under the hood. Gone is the CVT, in its place is a smooth shifting 9-Speed Automatic. The V6 is also gone. It’s replacement, the 2.0L VC Turbo 4-cylinder with 241HP and 260 lb-ft of torque, is peppy enough though lacks the smoothness and refinement of a V6, Inline-6, or hybridized 4-cylinder powertrain. 🏁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Highs: +Innovative new design language, interior feels modern and feature rich. 12.3 inch display relatively easy to navigate and 64 color ambient lighting is NICE! + New 9-speed gearbox is smooth to shift. +Platinum offers lumbar based massaging seats Lows: -I found the ride to be on the firmer side, especially with these 21 inch wheels and stiffer dampers for 2025. -The engine is loud under acceleration and fuel economy was unimpressive with averages in the low 20MPG range, similar to the old V6. -Lacks the more advanced ProPilot 2.0 which is found on the Ariya, only offers 1.1. 7/10 - I was excited to drive the 2025 Murano as the nameplate has been part of my family since its launch in 2003. This 2025 is more advanced and tech filled than ever while looking unique.
