One of my very favorite podcasters said this on her show this week & it made me sad for her! @Megan McCain there is no shame in treating your disease. Hollywood & the media have made treating the disease of obesity something moral & it's not. For people with the disease of obesity this medication gives us a chance of living life in a normal sized body & not have to suffer with everything that comes with obesity physically. Yes, I will be on this medication for the rest of my life, but because I lost 75lbs with a GLP1, I no longer have to take my blood pressure meds, water pill, ssri's or ibuprofen daily to combat the aches & pains associated with being obese. And no, I haven't grown a tail or lost all my hair... I've been on mounjaro for just over 2 years with zero of the "wild side "effects" you think there are. Ready to stop with the excuses & figure your weight out once & for all???? need a way to get this medication? I am an affiliate with @Zappy Health and right now they are giving new patients $114 off for Valentines! click the zappy link in my bio & use code Lindy14 to save!!! Lastly, Megan, I'm just a 45 year old mom of a 5 year old, I think you are so smart & a voice our generation needs. I can imagine how difficult being a public figure & not being a size 0 must be, but as someone who spent 25 years weighing over 250lbs I can't tell you how life changing treating my disease has been & I encourage you to do some research, talk to Oprah! THERE IS NO SHAME IN TREATING YOUR DISEASE. period dot
