I was terrified in May when I decided to jump into something brand new. I thought I’d fail. AGAIN. I thought I couldn’t do it. I thought I wasn’t meant to own my own small biz after so many failed ones. But I jumped in anyways. And now 7 months later I’ve found my passion and purpose. I’ve found a way to save my family from non-stop financial fear and support them without worry. I’ve found a community that I didn’t even know I needed. I’ve found freedom with finances, time, and family that I didn’t even know existed. I’ve found what I’d been searching for my entire life. So as I work toward getting back on track, I was happy to stumble across information posted by one of my favorite health and wellness warriors, Dr. Mark Hyman who was talking about how WHAT you are eating is much more important then HOW MUCH you are eating! He says the quality of your food drives your biology and ultraprocessed foods hijack the metabolism, disrupt hunger signals, and lead to what he calls "hungry fat" that then drives cravings and creates a vicious cycle. 2025 is the year of sustainable wellness—not quick fixes.
