I did 10 years of Emergency Med/Flight Nursing, and I’m thankful for the time I did and for everyone who still does those critical jobs. The scene flights in the cold & snow, and how FRIGID it is under the rotor of a medical helicopter is not something I miss, even though I was always happy we could assist whoever needed us. I went on a hiatus towards the end of last semester so it feels weird to be back on campus and around so many people day to day again.
