Day in the life of a girly in her 30s—no hubby, no kids, and no shame about it. A series 💅🏽 🎄This holiday season, I tried SIX quintessential touristy NYC activities and here’s how it went. 1: Went to Lotte New York Palace for their stunning holiday decor and that HUGE Christmas tree. It’s the ultimate photo op, and it did not disappoint. 2: I braved the crowds at Radio City Music Hall to take in the holiday vibes! 3: I stopped by a Christmas bar, but… let’s just say the crowds were not giving “merry and bright,” so I kept it moving. 4: I hit the Bryant Park Christmas Market for the second year in a row and found a shirt that perfectly summed up my 2024: ‘Today I cried.’ 😂 The market was fun as always, but next year, I’m branching out and trying a different one for some variety! 🤩 The real highlight of the holidays, though, was spending Christmas Day with my close friend, Adi! She hosted an incredible dinner where we feasted on Mexican Pozole, watched the Beyoncé Bowl, and stayed up until the wee hours of the morning planning out all the wins we’re manifesting for 2025. It was the kind of quality time that makes the season feel extra special 🥰 5: An unexpected favorite this year for me were the holiday windows on 5th Avenue and at Macy’s on 34th Street. 2024 was a year of: growth, reflection, and lessons that will stick with me forever. This year, I learned a lot about myself, my journey, and what it means to truly follow your passions in life. In March, I was laid off from my job—a moment that left me feeling stuck, questioning everything, maybe moving to a new state and convinced honestly I was unhappy in New York City. I thought maybe the city wasn’t for me, but in reality, I wasn’t doing what I truly loved. That moment of uncertainty was painful, but it forced me to look inward and make a change. I realized that no one said the road to pursuing your dreams would be easy, but I also learned that the hard moments are what make the journey so rewarding. I leaned into my passion for creating content, telling stories, and connecting with people through food, travel, and experiences. It wasn’t easy (TRUST ME)—there were doubts, struggles, and setbacks—but every step forward reminded me that I was finally doing what I loved.🙏🏻 This year taught me to let things unfold the way they’re meant to. Sometimes, the detours and the challenges are exactly what you need to find your true path. In the end, all the pain and uncertainty were worth it because they brought me closer to a life that feels authentic, rewarding and fulfilling.🫶🏻 To anyone feeling stuck or unsure: trust that the road ahead might be tough, but it’s leading you to something better.
