What I've learned: apartment hunting isn't that fun in NYC unless you have all the money and no budget 🤭 I'm not sure if these ones are still available or not but here are the addresses: 316 E 92nd #3RC 244 W 72nd #10C The market right now isn’t great, I'm expecting better in a couple months... or rather l'm hoping because what do I know about real estate lol. I'm mostly using @StreetEasy and @Zillow .. with Zillow I like that you can type in keywords like "fireplace". I'm open to other neighborhoods but UES and UWS would be my first preference, so l'm only looking there right now. I'll see how it goes over the next couple months but probs have to increase the budget, as I expected! I've noticed that non elevator buildings have apartments with more historical charm... and I am tempted.. but I think after 10 years of walking up 5 flights, I deserve a break haha! I don't really have any tips, it has been 10 years since l moved and back in those days I was using Craigslist! However.. I've noticed when I request a tour through Street Easy, I usually don't hear back. but with Zillow, 1 always do. So with Street Easy, sometimes it has the agents phone number and I'll text them and 9 out of 10 times I'll get a reply. I think it's important to see the apartment even if you're not 100% on it... not that I advise wasting the agents time but it's good to see the building and street it's on because maybe another apartment that's better suited to you will pop up in that same building or another one on that street or you'll know to avoid it in the future. #nycapartment #nycapartmenthunting #apartmenthunting #nycrealestate

The last 2 apartments yesterday were in the $4,000 range and these were $5,250 and $5,300! I hope this was a little helpful so far for anyone looking in the UES/UWS neighborhoods in this price range! The apartment addresses: 290 Riverside Drive #4D 2586 Broadway #5C Like I mentioned, we’re not in a rush to move.. I really do want to wait until I find something more special, it could be next month or it could be the summer time! I plan to keep updating/refreshing my current apartment, because I love and enjoy it so much!! Knowing that I could move out soon won’t stop me doing what I love lol! For everyone inquiring about my current apartment— thank you for all the interest!! There have been a lot of DM’s and emails and I honestly can’t reply to them all so I hope you see this— it won’t be up to me to choose the next tenant. I haven’t spoken to my landlord about moving out yet, for all I know, he may want to renovate and upgrade it to generate more revenue. It’s probably been 20 years since any upgrades lol idk. I know for a fact he will already charge hundreds more when we move out because it’s technically a two bedroom in Midtown Manhattan! It’s not rent stabilized, but he’s been very kind to us all these years (I’m not sharing how much we pay).
