Three years ago today, I was wheelchair-bound, my face still partially paralyzed, and completely uncertain if or when I would ever walk again. Guillain-Barré Syndrome took me to a place of complete vulnerability—a place where every step, every movement felt out of reach. It was messy, painful, and, at times, unbearable. I shared then and will continue to share the ugly moments in my life because they are part of the story...my story. They are the cracks where the light gets in. Today, I’m walking, driving, and living a beautiful life—not because the struggle is gone, but because I refuse to let it define me. Yes, there are still hard days. Yes, I still face challenges, and probably always will. But each and every setback fuels incredible comebacks. Your ugly moments hold power, too. They don’t break you—they build you. They don’t end your story—they rewrite it. I use each piece of my journey, even the not so pretty parts, to help shine light in the lives of others who are facing their own battles. Because if I can rise from the darkest chapter of my life, so can you. Your comeback is coming, and it will be beautiful. ✨ If you’re in the middle of your hard season, I see you, I’m rooting for you, and I’m here to remind you: You are stronger than you think, and you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here. 💗
