Adding Palmier cookies to my favorites 🫶 #palmier#cookies#strawberrypalmier#EasyRecipe#fyp Palmier Puff Pastry 1/2 C. Sugar 1/4 C. Freeze dried Strawberries Preheat oven to 425°F. Thaw puff pastry. Pour half the sugar onto a clean work surface and evenly spread it out to the size of your puff pastry sheet. Lay the thawed sheet of puff pastry on top of the sugar; press down to stick the sugar to the outside of the pastry. Crush the freeze dried strawberries; add remaining sugar and mix. Pour strawberry/sugar mixture on top and evenly spread it over the puff pastry. Now equally fold one end and repeat the fold on the opposite side till each side meets in the middle (Two equal folds on each side) now close the folds together like a book. Roll up in the parchment to keep it together. Chill for 1 hour. After chilling slice the cookies to desired size. Dip sliced cookies into more sugar and place onto a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake palmier cookies for 8 minutes, flip them and continue to bake for another 5 minutes. Remove from oven onto a cooling rack and allow them to cool. Store Palmier Cookies in an airtight container. Palmiers are great with a cup of coffee.
