4 months post op and we’re still struggling. I started walking this month without my crutches but I can’t make it very far without excruciating pain. I’ve had to get a cane for when it really hurts. The rehab just seems really slow this time and the pain is sketchy. I haven’t pushed it at all. I’ve been very careful and slow this time around. For those who don’t know, this is my 6th hip surgery. The last two were in September and October. I had labral reconstruction, cam bone shaved, ligamentum terres reconstruction, and a PAO. Checkout my hip guide and my hip story. 4 month update: PAO x Labral Reconstruction x Ligamentum Teres Reconstruction 💪🏽 The recovery has been slow and the pain has been real. This is my 5th and 6th surgery and hopefully my last. I just started walking about two weeks ago. I can’t go far without pain/limping so I’m taking it slow. I’m taking the recovery super serious especially compared to the last surgeries because the healing has been a lot slower and I want to make sure I am okay before diving back into my extreme sport lifestyle! I have been working out and rehabbing a lot though.
