Replying to @✂️ Apparently I didn’t heal any of my PCOS symptoms 🤷🏽♀️ we all know PCOS is life long…this is what can happen when it goes unmanaged. Did you know unmanaged PCOS can lead to skin problems like unhealed C-section wounds, boils, and scalp cysts due to elevated insulin levels and androgens, which increase inflammation, impair healing, and promote bacterial overgrowth? PCOS causes chronic inflammation, so conditions exacerbated by inflammation like my hip dysplasia I was born with, my permanent back injury, asthma, allergies, and sleep apnea can be SO much worse when PCOS is unmanaged. Simple PCOS swaps in my meals and movement is all it took, but it took me years to figure out which ones were right for me! I share my PCOS meals, workouts, and tips here daily that helped me not just lose 121lbs total (88lbs in a year) but also helped heal these PCOS related symptoms. Healing symptoms related to PCOS does not mean curing PCOS as PCOS is a lifelong condition. With my symptoms continually managed daily, I feel healed from all the layers suffering I used to have every day. And I didn’t even cover my emotional and mental state in this one! Follow along and share this with a friend who needs to see that they too are not alone. 👯♀️ Which PCOS related symptoms do we share? 👇🏽
