I promise you half of your stress is coming from the thing in your hand right now… your PHONE! Don’t believe me? Take a 48 cleanse. The constant comparing and bombarding of information, opinions, tragedy, etc. is not only stressing you out, but also keep you heavily distracted. When you’re distracted you are not in deep connection with nature, loved ones, or God. And when you’re not connected to those 3 you are going to feel very lost and very agitated. Go take a walk in the fresh air. Take your babies with you. The moment I stopped stressing how I was going to get things done or go anywhere as a mom, and just started doing it and taking my little along with me is the moment I felt powerful. I knew if I could leave the house on my own successfully with a baby, and keep us both alive and happy I was accomplishing a win. There are many things I miss for example going to the gym and weightlifting… but stroller walks are a great workout too and they benefit both my daughter and myself. One day I’ll find a gym that accommodates children, or I’ll find a way to make it work around our schedules or I’ll have more help or they will be old enough for me to hit the gym without worry. But that is not this season, and that’s okay. So it does me no good to see reel after reel of women in a season I am not in and therefore causing unnecessary stress. Again, put the phone down and get connected to the season you are blessed to be in NOW. I’m preaching to myself too 💙👏🏽
