This flood has been absolutely devastating for our community. The damage and heartbreak are truly overwhelming, and so many families have lost so much. Pt. 3 of our flooding nightmare. Please dont judge our judgment to drive through this. At this very moment it was an emergency. We had to get to our son then go get our daughter from work then back home to my 72 year old mom who was home alone on our holler that was also flooding. We couldn’t get ahold of mom so we were terrified. I don’t suggest anyone doing this but at the same time you use your own judgement. This was a true emergency. This all happened so fast and I know without a shadow of a doubt the good Lord brought us through this on Saturday.
