If the tiktok ban happens, we dont want to miss you! Lets get connected on IG and YT! 🍌 Why is subculturing your tissue culture plantlets crucial, especially for something as unique as a variegated banana? Subculturing isn’t just another step in tissue culture—it’s the lifeline that keeps your plantlets thriving. For plants like a rare variegated banana, subculturing ensures optimal growth, prevents overcrowding, and maintains those stunning variegations that make them so special. Here’s why it’s essential:
✅ Prevents contamination: Fresh media keeps your cultures clean and healthy.
✅ Encourages vigorous growth: Providing new nutrients gives your plantlets the energy they need to flourish.
✅ Promotes uniformity: Regular subculturing helps you maintain consistent traits, like the beautiful variegation in bananas.
✅ Scales your success: Divide and conquer! Subculturing allows you to multiply your plants and take your tissue culture projects to the next level. 🚨 Missed our recent video on rescuing a variegated banana tree using tissue culture?
We showed step-by-step how this rare beauty was saved and propagated in the lab. #TissueCulture #BananaTree #VariegatedPlants #PlantPropagation #SubcultureTips #plantstissueculture #tissuecultureplant #plantcellculture #plantsculture #tissuecultureplants #tissueculturelab #planttissueculturelab #tissuecultureclones #tissuecultured #tissueculturelaboratory #plantculturebasics #horticulture #laboratory #biotechnology #invitro #micropropagation #invitroplants

Ever wondered how well PPM™ protects your tissue cultures? 🧫 We ran an experiment to find out just how effective it is at controlling bacterial contamination. 📽️ What We Tested:
✅ A contaminated bacteria sample was applied to media with varying PPM™ concentrations: •	No PPM™ (control) •	0.5 mL/L •	2 mL/L •	4 mL/L ✅ Negative control plates with no bacteria were also included. 💡 What We Found After One Week: •	Plates without PPM™? Heavy bacterial growth. •	Plates with PPM™? Minimal to no contamination, even at lower concentrations. •	At 4 mL/L, PPM™ showed incredible effectiveness—only a tiny bit of bacteria grew, proving its ability to defend your cultures. 🎥Stay tuned for Part 2, where we test PPM™ against fungus! #PlantPreservativeMixture #LabExperiment #PlantTissueCulture #RarePlants #TissueCulture #plantsofinstagram #plantculture #plantstissueculture #tissuecultureplant #plantcellculture #plantsculture #tissuecultureplants #tissueculturelab #planttissueculturelab #tissuecultureclones #tissuecultured #tissueculturelaboratory #plantculturebasics #horticulture #laboratory #biotechnology #invitro #propagation #micropropagation #invitroplants #plantmicropropagation
