Lifes too short. I grew up in an insanely strict home, I got into a serious relationship at 14, got married, bought a home, had kids. I did everything right. I always did what was expected of me and my life is blessed and I'm the happiest I've ever been now because I'm finally doing things I want. I'm an adult and I make my own decisions. Putting my physical health first in my 30s has been the most liberating thing to me. I love working out but it wasn't enough! My mobility training and pole fitness has freed my inner child in so many ways and ill never look back! Credit to @vixenpole 💪Want to get stronger on the pole?? 💪 Here are some of my favourite pole conditioning exercises for intermediate/advanced pole dancers, add them into your training and enjoy the gains 💪🙌 1✨ L seat to leg raises✨ working your arms, shoulders, core, quads & hip flexors, start sitting next to the pole with your inside hand in line with your shoulder and your outside hand flat to the floor, engage your core and keep your legs tight as you try to lift your lower body off the floor, follow with a leg raises and repeat the exercise on the other side of the pole. 8-10 reps each side! 2✨Slide throughs✨you will need socks for these ones. A great full body exercise with particular focus on the core! 8-10 reps each side!  3✨Pole burpees✨ phew these ones are tough! Working upper body & core with some added cardio for good measure. Feel free to modify the push up section with push ups from the knees to make these easier, don’t forget to breathe!! 8-10 reps! 4✨Bicep grip pole crunches ✨ an amazing exercise to work the obliques & biceps 8-10 reps each side! 5✨Pole pull ups✨ you will need a long top for these, try to keep your glutes engaged and squeeze your legs as you initiate the pull-up 8-10 reps switching your top arm in between sets. 6✨Around the Worlds✨ this is one of my favourite exercises to condition not only the core but also your shoulder mount. Try to keep the movement slow and controlled and don’t forget to breathe!
