Our very first single, “Lemon Drop” dropped over five years ago and we’ve released 20+ songs since then. We’ve moved to LA to try to “make it” countless times. We’ve made sacrifices like every other band. We’ve wondered if it was worth it. We’ve spent years apart—in different states and countries—unable to tour to support the songs we continued to put out. We’ve taken other jobs to keep funding something we believe in. 2024 has truly been the year that we’ve been able to see some of our biggest dreams start to become a reality. Showing up to cities that we have never performed in before, often as the opening act, and hearing that you drove hours to see us? Finding you in the crowd knowing all the lyrics already? Never hearing of us before and buying merch after the show because you loved it? YOU all have kept us going. There is a fairly big announcement on the horizon if you’ve made it this far in the caption. So, whether you’ve known of Raynes for days, months, years, or this is the first time hearing one of our songs, you’re still early to what we think is about to become a really big party. :) We’d love for you to be part of this journey. So, share the songs if you like them, keep creating works of art and lipsyncs to them, keep telling us where you’d like to see us play next, we read every comment, we send handwritten invitations to shows if we have your address, we meet you after shows, and we never plan on changing any of it. Love always, Mark, Mat, and Joe.
