Silliness isn’t just fun—it’s powerful! It helps kids feel safe, manage stress, bond with you, learn better, and even supports positive discipline. So go ahead—be goofy, laugh, and play! It’s one of the best ways to connect and help your child thrive. In this activity, I used a puppet to be silly. We laughed, I made silly voices, the puppet ate fingers and toes, and I also learned a lot about what my son knows as far as letters and their sounds because the pressure was taken off. Here are some more ways to incorporate silliness into your day: ✨ Read books using different voices ✨ Do something “wrong” on purpose (like putting socks on hands!) ✨ Sing directions instead of saying them ✨ Swap roles with your child ✨ Let them take the lead in play
